After many meetings between department members, our insurance company and their affiliates we are finally making progress.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Tracy and Jim Stiffler for letting us house our larger pieces of apparatus in their barn at Ford Acres Stables.  We have been keeping the trucks there until we can have a structure of our own built to house the trucks.  Please take a look in the links section for their website.  A very nice, state of the art facililty, located right in Fairfield Twp.

The cause of the fire has been ruled accidental.  A release has been made in the Trib stating this as well. 

Many, many more hours are going to need to be spent over the next several months to get us back on track.  We are currently working with contractors on a heated garage structure to house our apparatus for the winter months.  The garage will be built on our current existing property directly behind our carnival pavilion.

We are still anxiously awaiting word on our existing building (firehall that was damaged).  Much testing is being done to determine wether or not it will be viable to salvage any or all of it.
